False Advertising, contridiction in terms. ADSL is an always on service. After about one and a half days connection will be terminated until the beginning of the following month. What a rip off

You obviously have little understanding in how small businesses operate. Their main focus and interest is in doing their business (supplying forklift spares, distributing wholesale mushrooms ... whatever), not technology, downloads, streaming or anything else like that.R4tt3xx said:
Whats important to them is email, doing the banking, online ordering etc. etc. This stuff is not very bandwidth intensive (usually far less than 1GB), but it is time consuming. I've seen many a SME paying over R1000 per month in call costs for Internet access on dialup (no callmore during the day).
In their minds (wrongly), getting Internet access is an expense, while paying the phone bill just a cost of doing business ... thats their mentality. Also usually the person using the access is not the one paying for it. If the person responsible for book keeping say thats what they need to do to get the banking done, then thats the cost the business will absorb.
So enlightening these 'couldnt care less in technology options' small business about the cost savings possible with ADSL is a good thing. Most of the time theyre so pre-occupied with the business at hand that they dont really take a look at what options they have.
And as far getting the best ADSL deal avaliable, the guys offering rock bottom pricing have such a small visibility footprint in mainstream small business that they will hardly ever be found.
