Faulty button on macbook

Hi all.

My wife has had her macbook for about 4 months now. But recently the button on her white macbook makes a heavy "chunk" sound when it's depressed. Something's not right with it. Is this a common fault? We got it from the istore in gateway. Will that be covered in the warranty? Do they repair, or will they send it away?

take it in. if it is indeed faulty a replacement part will be ordered. Which would be the top case. When it arrives u will be notified and the part replaced (+- 1 hour)
if its replaced and not faulty through negligence warranty covers it

THanks. It's not negligence. Hasn't been dropped or anything. THe button just seems to have come a bit loose and I"m worried about it getting worse.
