Bought a new BB 10 days ago and now it does not turn on anymore. Am I entitled to a replacement or refund or repair seeing that it is more than seven days after I bought it already
From experience depending on where u bought it from , they will take it for repairs and will only replace it after the repair guys fail... that sucks especially when u dont know when they r gonna bring it back
My old Bold had a dead pixel. When I returned it to the Vodacom shop I bought it from, it was sent to Blackberry for assessment. After they confirmed that it had a fault, I was given a brand new one.
According to CPA if a product is defective within six months you are entitled to a replacement/money back.
Right to Return Goods
A consumer is entitled to return unsafe or defective goods, including goods that are not of a good quality. This right is enforceable for a period of six months, calculated from the date of the delivery of the goods to the consumer. Where the goods are so returned, the consumer does so without penalty and at the supplier’s risk and expense.
If the goods are prematurely delivered to a consumer, the consumer may accept delivery or require delivery or performance at the agreed time and date. The consumer may also cancel the agreement without penalty and treat the delivered goods or services as “unsolicited goods or services.”
