Faux news caught lying... again

What a pleasure to finally come across a post that actually agrees with me on Fox News!!

As far as I am concerned they epitomize all that is bad about the Right Wing crowd in the USA, and have no qualms about stooping as low as they can if they can rake up some muck that might show Obama in a bad light.

They remind me of the gutter press who produce rubbish cheap newspapers, full of half truths, and attempt to print what ever nonsense that comes their way, whether it is true or not.

This is the crowd that the teabaggers love to bits........not MY cup of tea!!
 
Most people with brains know what faux news is all about. Its a republican mouthpiece representing the worse of western culture.

I have never quite understood the mentality of the Fox lovers.

I moved across here from a South African forum based in the States, where I was almost hounded off earlier this year for daring to say that I viewed Fox news reports with some skepticism.

Recently, another guy (American) who linked to me on Face book because of our mutual interest in cars, had a total hissy fit when I passed some disparaging remark on FB about Fox...according to him, the "rest of the world" is being grossly unfair to Fox, and he watches it every day, and cannot see what they are lying about...of course he also claims that Obama is a communist who is actually not an American citizen, as he doesn't believe that his birth certificate is the right one.

These guys are something else...:rolleyes:
 
The funny thing is that Wiz always quotes from Huffington Post which is the equivalent of Fox News for Lefties. News stations lie quite a lot - and despite what Wiz and Co. think, it does happen, as Alan pointed out, on your "darling" radio/TV stations as well. Of course it wouldn't be in the interests of Huffington Post to publish those stories now would it...

I think w1z4rd is our local Huffington loonies representative. All this focus on FOX shows how damaging the revelation about the likes Rev Wright and that commie truther moron eco Czar of his are. I wonder what other nuts are in the cupboard they're afraid will be revealed. These two idiots will take some beating though. No rather shut down FOX and keep these unpleasant facts swept under the carpet.

Erm.. The Huff is pretty critical of Obama. Which is good. They commend him when he does something good, they nail him when he does something dumb. You can see you are talking outta your ass there.

I read The Huff because of the amount of big business and political corruption it exposes. Something a faux news supporter knows nothing about... as faux supports Republicans who are the most crooked of the American people. Faux supporters are sheeple.. that republicans milk for votes because they know these people are easily controlled and manipulated.

While the Huff is my first port of call.. I read about a dozen major news publications regularly every single day. Across the political spectrum. The only time I go to faux news is when Google News has an article that I wanna read on its front page. As I know Fox news is faux.

The rancid right.. always twisting stuff. No wonder so many of them are creationists. I honestly believe they lack the ability to be honest.

Why do we care that the sun comes up? Are why the sky is blue? Or how airplanes fly?

I enjoy global politics, specifically South Africa`s, America`s, China and Russia`s. Hence I talk about it. I know its not everyones subject. I dont care about football in the UK.. yet we have a whole section to that. Why should we care about what happens in British football?

People will talk about what they have an interest in.

That's strange - I remember when it was around US election time, Digg.com biggest stories were from huffingtonpost - either ones praising Obama or finding dirt on Republicans. I'll take your word for it that has changed from a praise-singer of Obama to a more critical stance...but why would they change so quickly if it is (presumably) the same writers as pre- Nov 2008?
