Favourite ingredient/spice/fruit/vegetable in the kitchen

My latest affliction is for liquid smoke. I cook far too much of a variety to specify a single ingredient as my favourite to work with though. A few months ago it would have been salt, but these days I tend to make flavour reductions to bolster flavours instead of adding salt...

Is there anyway to reduce the stink of garlic the day after? Some idiot at my wifes work told her that she stank of garlic so now I'm not allowed to use it in my food anymore.:cry:
 
garlic .... tons n tons of it

and mushrooms just cant get enough of them!

is it that she stank of garlic personally or the food she was eating for lunch? if it was her get her to eat
mango achar with lots of methi masala in it you will never again get complaints of your garlic use ;)

oh she'll still smell though not of garlic but methi ;)

:DNo it was that typical day after waft of garlic. I don't think I'll be able to convince her to eat archar.

Dude, garlic is everyone else's problem, never yours. Tell your wife to tell her colleague the grow a pair and finish his Tofu. ;)
 
I've been sneaking the garlic back into my dishes hopefully the people around her will build up a tolerance for it.:whistle:
