Favourite Linux Desktop Environment?

What is your favourite linux desktop environment as the title asks? - Mine would definitely be Ubuntu.

Ubuntu is a linux distro, or os for your purposes.

... Gnome 3 on Fedora is my favorite mix.

I use Ubuntu Unity on proper desktop machines and Ubuntu MATE on lighter devices; netbook, raspberry pi2/3, etc.

If one installs Ubuntu, they get Ubuntu + Unity, Xubuntu is Ubuntu + XFCE, etc. so I assume OP is referring to Ubuntu + Unity.

best everyday for me is xfce but I must be honest I have always secretly loved kde... then again I enjoy a minimal build without any de on the most.

KDE Plasma is sooooooooo pretty. But my install was really messed up, corrupted files, things missing. I dunno, was great while it lasted but most window managers I've had was Unity and XFCE. Like I said I want to try MATE next but it is hard to beat XFCE for my use
