Blade...still one of the best comic book adaptations. I love the obvious "looks like Mortal Kombat" cg from this scene at around 2:00 when they fight in front of the lights.

Not sure The Hobbit is classified as a trilogy.

LOTR is 3 movies based on the 3 books which make up the LOTR.

The Hobbit is one book stretched into 3 movies - which is kinda weird seeing as The Hobbit book is shorter than any of the 3 LOTR books.

It could have worked as two movies.

But the pacing and placement of certain major events just made it utterly daft.

Funnily enough I found the Hobbit Trilogy more enjoyable than LOTR..... the pace was just right.
