Hi,

Has anybody had any success with receiving faxes from international countries to their Iburst Fax 2 Email number? I'm can't receive any from the UK. I sent an email and call to Iburst about this. i was promised a response, but no one seems to know the answer. Do you know?

No, the fax2email is local only.

We wanted to use it in our company, but it will not work overseas.

Blame telscum, not iBurst.

Forget about all other fax to email options

Sign up for telkom's facility which allows international access and does not charge the sender R1.80 per minute to send you a fax. The cost +-R20 pm and you can choose your number ;) So much for blaming telkom.

Hmmm that monthly subscription fee paid to the beast that is Telkodemonopolies versus an overseas free number combined with a separate local free fax2email number...

Nope, I already pay Telkodemonopolies too much every month, so I don't think so in my case.

Yes the monopoly beast subscription but at least you are not charging your customers to send you a fax (locally) [and not recieving any of the money charged].

I suppose an international free number will prob be cheaper for int client anyway (rather than telkoms int rates).

Local fex2email seems to keep the fax-spammers at bay :).

I wish I was receiving a kickback from local fax2email, but I am not, although I have heard tell of such things happening...

Fax 2 email service - how does it work?

People offer free fax2email services but they get a share of the amount telkom charges to send a fax i.e. 1.40 per minute. That's how they make their money!

How do we start a service like this?
