Hi

Please provide feedback on the process leading up to the recent mybb submission to the Minister of Communications on a new ICT Policy. Purpose of this thread is to try and improve the manner in which things are done in future.

Already noted that we need to allow more time for feedback on drafts.

Thoughts?

I know there's not much you can do about the time frames (deadlines) so it is pointless debating that.

For the less informed (and I mean it a nice way) you should provide a broad outline of the problem and a very basic framework of an expected reply/proposal. No details are necessary, just some pointers or headings and a very basic reply template.

This might prevent replies like "ICASA are dumb ******* *****", etc.

I tend to agree with McD on this one..

A template or guideline that can hopefully help people remove the emotion from their responses.

only slightly off topic: Has any feedback on the submissions being received by the colloquim or at the ICT Indaba or from any channels. I am hoping that some gremlins are able to hunt down copies of publicly released submissions (as with the LLU submissions) such that I can see what industry players are saying.
