With regards to the setup of the meeting, rpm has informed me that it looks like he is going to have a meeting with Neotel on Monday at about 2pm'ish.
It's not confirmed YET, but once it is, he will let me know.

They will be meeting the head of the consumer services and network specialists and hopefully get some damn good answers for us!

Once I know more, I'll post here or rpm will...

Thanks again rpm for helping us!

Sweet. Will we have a case by case report back, so that each guy that sent you something gets an actual response, not a generic regurgitation?

it's great that rpm is willing to stand up for the mybb community and ask some questions around here, like "why are these users paying so much money for a service that doesn't work"?

We still* do not know hey,* We still do not know what we can do* that will not cost us money* or to much time. I do not mean with Neotel because they are really sh*t, I'm talking about every thing. The law and gov is just not on our side and was this not suppose to be a free and fair S.A? They use fancy words and laws to BS us and there is nothing we can do but vote in a fail 3d world ratio so that the leech gov always win. Telecoms SHOULD BE a right like water for us,you don't see me drinking toilet water.

And is this the free antenna we're all entitled to?

Good question !!, it was recently suggested to me by technical support that I purchase an antenna to improve signal. I have been with Neotel almost 1 year now and am not prepared to purchase an antenna because my coverage has shifted. Neotel should fix my coverage as it was before else pay for the antenna.

*holding fingers for you gdiza

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you joined Neotel and probably signed your contract, you are with them for 24 months so that's 24 months Neotel have to honor the contract - which means, if they go and shift coverage, they are in breach of contract - remember, they promise to give you a service and you signed for that.

This is a problem with Neotel technical support - they have stupid people (or people who don't know what they doing) working there.

If you're outta coverage, it's not your problem, it's Neotel's and they must find a solution or you can cancel your contract!

I wish people wouldn't take Neotel's KARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep exactly !! I even said "Don't make your problems my problem" When asked by the technician who was speaking again I said "I am speaking now"

Coverage was excellent in all my Neotel period only until recently so it is only a matter of adjusting the cells on the tower and or fitting an antenna which will probably fix most of Neotel users issues.

I'm not going to 'nag' rpm - but just from experience, I'm sure he'll get back to me, but yes, I'll ask him what is happening exactly and either HE or I will let you know.

*truth removed* (too hard for the powers that be to handle)
