Fellow i20 owners - anyone successfully enabled RDS?

Thanks for advice, phoned workshop this morning.They will first re-route the cable ,if its not working, then replace it.

Anyone have issues with flash drive sizes on your i20's? I tried a 4Gig flash with a whole bunch of songs...and it tries to scan, then keeps restarting the radio, and scanning again, etc etc etc?

I've had to load on fewer songs to get it to work....seems like too many songs just makes the radio keel over?

i luckily have an ipod so just use that

Nope I have 4 flash drives in the car, 3x 8GB Kingston, 1 x 1GB anonymous flash-drive.

Perhaps the file system on the flash is corrupt or not working.

Try the following in Windows (needs 7 or Vista):
Start -> type cmd (run as administrator)
Type: diskpart
Type: list disk
Pick the flash-drive
Type: select disk X (where X is the flash-drive)
Type: clean
Type: create partition primary
Type: exit
Type: exit

Start -> explorer
Quick format the flash (FAT or if you must FAT32)
Put stuff on the flash and test again.

If you flash stops working after the procedure (happened once with an old Sahara flash), then it was a piece of sh#t and it was going to die anyway.
