He is a rookie. Mclaren took a gamble to put him in the team, and it paid off BIG time. They are going to have to dig deep into Mercedes' wallets to keep this talent in their team.

I think that McLaren is going to be without both drivers soon. Ferrari will snap up Hamilton and Alonso will move. Kimi would do well to leave Ferrari as I would not want to be in a team with an arrogant twit like Hamilton. He is likely to run you off the track.

Bearing in mind that Hamilton has been involved with McLaren for 9+ years, that may not be the case... but money talks unfortunately.
