Fertility Testing

Careful.....I fell pregnant ON the pill
But it was the best mistake ever

Bwahahahahahhaha perhaps if granny and grandpa live nearby. You may get away with that for a little while. I have a long list of the things I miss being able to do.

But seriously - they add so much more to your life than they take away. The husband on the other hand......

Kidding. I think it would be a good way to do it, as if I know I am not, then she doesn't have to go for testing for it, and can go off the pill.

So yeah, with guys it's a pretty painless (somewhat enjoyable) experience - these labs will do it for you. Think I paid a few hundred - like R200-R300.

Only thing I'll add - I got snipped, got tested, all good - Doc does warn you that life *sometimes* still finds a way so not to beat my wife up she falls pregnant again.
My brother and his wife were trying for a while, he got tested, he was told the probability of him being able to have a kid was like less than 1% (not 0% granted), they adopted. She was fine apparently.
Three years later him (well and new wife, long story) had a kid together.

Not saying don't do what you're doing, just ya, well, maybe still both go for tests.

Yeah I'm part of the 1% club. It may be due to stress, environment, etc. Things change over time though and the boys may decide to wake up.
 
Why would a contraceptive working lead you to think either of you are infertile? It's literally doing what it says on the tin...

You should also be glad she can stay on the same method, my wimmin has to change every year or so as she starts getting side effects. Rosy and her 5 friends are frequent visitors during the first month of the swap.
 
A good wife will be able to tell by the taste whether you're fertile or not.

Or wack off and put a drop of cum in the passage before you go to work. If, when you come from work, the drop is in the kitchen. you soldiers are strong swimmers.
 
We went down the whole fertility treatment route, testing is cheap and inexpensive, best to get it done so you know, it can be a very depressing experience if nothing works after trying for a long time.

I wanted to ... then my friend had his " nut job" done and since he has problems. Apparantly a vericous vein on the ball. And that from the op. So nooooooo cutting on my sack thank you.

Same here, SO fell pregnant with nr2 while on the pill.

What's the chances of that happening? I had the snip 5 years ago and would not like a surprise of that nature at all. Did you go back after some time to check if you are still closed up?

As in incredibly small, but I don't know the figures. I think they have to say it's not a 100% foolproof method.
So nah, I haven't bothered to get retested. If I'm the 1 in 1 million, well...
Well I don't know what I'd do actually. Cry first, definitely.

I almost started crying when the doctor said congrats with no two. Next time will definitely not be almost. Although I love my babies with everything in me, I couldn't handle another one. And my number 2 was almost 2. :eek:
