Which of you converted from:

FF --> Chromium

or

Chromium --> FF

and why?

If you like addons then FF may be better, but I don't have many addons, and I like how Chrome is fast, sleek and integrates well with Gmail.

FF for dev work and Chrome for browsing.. still unmatched for speed IMO

I'm using Chromium most of the time, as the speed is just awesome. I have to use Firefox on my work's backoffice site, which for some reason doesn't like Chromium very much.

I also think you should get a poll up on this thread, some options can be:

Firefox
Chromium
Opera
IE (through Wine)
SeaMonkey
Safari
Midori
Konqueror

There is a lot more, but probably aren't very many people using most of the others.

back to FF because of TabCandy

alwwys felt speed differentials between opera, ff and chrome are marginal. so features that appeal to me win me over.

I personally think that in south africa you can only truly feel the difference on local websites.

I stopped using FF because it suddenly became power hungry. CPU was at over 50% at times.

it's sad it happened to you. but i guess you must realise this is not the norm

I always find this talk of speed interest. No doubt quicker loads times are better but surely those milliseconds are barely perceptable?
