FF Plus taking MTN to Parliament over billing problems

The FF Plus has invited people who have unresolved billing and administrative problems with cellphone company MTN to come forward.

all they have to do is buy data from mtn.

it expires, how can my money expire?! that surely is illegal in the first place!

they cry over all the whatsapp and OTT rubbish, but spam you with SMS's all week long.

a few people have told me they keep these expired items and resell or reuse it internally, how is that for a big fat f...... ......

What you're describing is known as breakages. They factor in unused data to make data cheaper. Well the ISPs do anyway.

That's why depending on how they ran the numbers, if you use every KB of you capped account you could be costing the ISP money.

Really depends on the business model.
