I wonder where he bought the fuel pumb? I could use the help with my Strada.

Everyone who bought a Strada could use some help. Psychological help.

You can't even do a diagnostic scan on those bakkies with any of the common professional diagnostic tools. Even Dekra can not scan them. Maintenance is a nightmare.

What's wrong with it?

The fuel pumb makes this short humming noise after being driven. With the car being off.

It's my sister's in law's car, but I use it. Sad uninformed choice they made I've come to learn.

Aren't all vehicle manufacturers supposed to use the OBDII protocol and you'd at least be abel to read codes?

Most of the SA version engine variants of the Fiat Strada are different to what is offered in Europe and these are not OBDII compliant.

It's an international standard which SA has not made compulsory for our locally manufactured vehicles. So many local cars customised or built for the local market are not compliant. Like Polo Vivo, Corsa bakkies, Ford Bantams, Some Isuzu bakkes, 2.7L petrol Hilux.
