Hi everyone,
I asked for alternatives to fibre a year ago, and at the time I ended up sticking with fibre — but the infrastructure has been so unstable that we’re offline more often than not. Because of that, I’m now looking at options other than fibre.

5G coverage in my area is very limited (mostly only available on MTN), so I’m considering LTE, uncapped plans, and anything that offers reliable connectivity.

Does anyone have recommendations for uncapped LTE/4G/other internet plans with high speeds and generous fair-use policies, or capped plans with big data allowances? I’d really appreciate suggestions for networks and ISPs that deliver good performance.

location - Welkom FS.

Thanks in advance!

If fiber is unstable and 5G is limited, the most reliable solution is often a Home LTE plan like Verizon LTE Home Internet or a third-party provider like Unlimitedville, which use 4G LTE for stable speed with large or unlimited volumes.

Vox has a home wireless uncapped offering. Look on their site. They come and install antenna an router at your premises after they do a site survey.

Wrong continent. I doubt Verizon or Unlimitedville provides services to South Africa.
