Hi All,

The plumber that was working on a leaking pipe have cut my fibre line running underground. I have logged a call with my service provider, however wanting to know if they are any costs involved? and turn around time for Maboneng Broadband to fix?

Did anyone have a similar situation before?

It would get handed over to Link Africa, more than likely a cost involved for the breakage.

Costs will definitely be charged.
We just had the same, contractor broke fibre - ISP calls it "unauthorized access"
And charges you for another install. (in our Case R4000 as they need to re-run the entire cable)

We normally just push the cost onto the contractor that broke it in the first place. Electrician broke fiber at our flat so we sent him the bill.
