Hi, are there any people interested in Fibre connectivity in Kensington.
It would be great to have Fibre for the schools that are in the vicinity.
Not sure which Fibre provbiders would be covering that area soonest.

ADSL options are grim as speed are between 4-8 Meg not guaranteed.
Some people i know in some streets get 2-3 Meg.
Telkom WIFI broadband is available BUT not to all spots in the area, and they get coverage from a Linksfield tower.

Fibre would be fantastic.

Locations i refer to are Queens, Marathon, and King Edward Street, and Juno Road vicinity.
Its a big stretch but considering how big Kensington is, this is what it is.
Largest suburb in Johannesburg i believe.

Have you tried contacting Vumatel. They have done a couple of big suburbs where they split it into smaller groups, to make interest shown a lot faster, and also they offer the schools free 1gb connections.
