Fibre coverage planned?

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know how long it takes for "planned coverage" which is light purple/pink to change to dark purple (covered)?

My area just showed up as light pink/purple, should I hope for FTTH anytime soon?

By recent calculations, expect up to 6 months to 2 years from the update. Telkom are really biting the bullet with huge planned coverage, then again it's to build up marketing in the area.

For us in Moreleta Park, Pretoria it was about 5 to 6 months.

Cape Town, Seapoint and Camps bay have been more than a year with planned.

Mine has been planned since December last year.Expect it to be live in October, so almost a year.

Oi Okay so next year sometime hopefully They recently implemented it within Fourways Gardens in the last few months and that was quick. I'm just next door, so hopefully its similar.

It's because Link Africa also did fibre in Fourways Gardens.
