Hey, looking at their coverage map is the blue marked areas covered? Because when I enter my address an error pops up but just zooming in on the map my area is in the blue.
Umtentweni, South Coast.
Its to do with them only offering business fibre until enough interest is shown to let them expand to ftth.My address in Toti is blue so in coverage but on isp site I have no fibre coverage. Double check your address with a isp coverage map.
There is nothing other than Link Africa fttb here unfortunately. If you got lots of money check out the Vodacom coverage map to see their business fibre. If your house is next to the trenched fibre seems like they can connect you.
I checked their map - are you sure it isn't wireless they are offering? There is no fibre in the areas the map says is covered. There is nothing other than Link Africa fttb here unfortunately.
Linked Africa? I contacted them late 2018 and they told me that they no longer offer FTH in kzn.Hey @Rayne,
I spent some time calling around the past few days, it seems like they have business fibre expanded here ,but they want a list of people interested in FTTH to release it here - so myself and @ronnie_94 decided to start asking neighbours for their "Interest" shown on a form we will submit to all fibre providers, if you are interested in filling your information and passing around let me know!
They haven't mentioned any of such, they just told us fttb is available and if there is enough interest they will expand to ftth.I checked their map - are you sure it isn't wireless they are offering? There is no fibre in the areas the map says is covered.
Has there been any interest from ISPS , My aparents are in Ramsgate and they have been struggling to get decent internet?
Not really. Unless they can afford the premium of business fibre from Link Africa. Their best option for now is adsl or rain lte for the time being. Telekom lte is just rubbish
Oh, is there perhaps a full plan somewhere? I'm particularly interested if they'll operate in Shelly Beach since I was assuming Openserve might've expanded if they went outside of just businesses and estates.Frogfoot is busy with layout in umtentweni, moving south. i suspect they will be in ramsgate by next month
Interesting, hopefully they come through for most of the coast.Frogfoot is busy with layout in umtentweni, moving south. i suspect they will be in ramsgate by next month
