Ok reconnected and now it's working again.
Openserve busy rolling out fibre in Ramsgate, Margate and Uvongo.

I see them doing an aerial installation like in Trafalgar around Margate and Shelly Beach, super sweet stuff!
I'm already on Frogfoot as deadlines required me to, but I've got to say so far, it's been super stable with Afrihost and I can at least get a 100 down line whilst sacrificing an upload I don't need at the moment for the same price comparatively.

That said yeah I hope so too, would love a plan B. I cancelled my LTE. Even though I'm on LTE right now (unplugged half my fibre network because contractor is putting in new ceilings this week after the fun fun storm damages) holy hell did it took a turn for the worse - 12mb down atm and 5mb up. I used to get like 28mb down during the day and at best between 50-70 late nights.
Good riddance. It's really a downer going from 1000 to 12. Even if it is temporary.

Same in Marina Beach. Went live in February. Very impressed. Ordered the Monday afternoon and installation was Tuesday morning.

MTN down - thank goodness for Telkom!

It's actually amazing to think (for me) that if it weren't for vandalism, sabotage and theft (accidents I completely understand), most of Frogfoot's and others uptime would actually be near perfect.Thieves
