Seems like a trend here in SA where you have to pay for everything twice, but I would highly recommend a Load Balancing router like the TP Link ER605 and a 5G or LTE connection if you work from home. We have deployed this solution and zero downtime - FF fibre is WAN1, MTN 5G is WAN2 and WAN3 is a Telkom LTE prepaid with 10 gigs loaded. Only time you notice FF is down is when reading the forum here or when running a Speedtest and see oh I'm on MTN now.

Oh I have LTE backup. I have a Telkom LTE router and then also MTN as a last resort. The problem I s when loadshedding comes on, Telkom and MTN is next to useless

When there’s power it’s working ok here in ramsgate, same with MTN. But as soon as the power goes they are both almost non existent

I will move over sometime this week, really wanted to give them any benefit of the doubt and things were really going smoothly for a while, but this is just how it'll always be unless a complete upheaval of the cables somehow happens, if even that.
