Hi all

First post on mybroadband, so go easy!

I have recently upgraded to a fibre line with Afrihost & Frogfoot & I am having major problems with my connectivity.

The problem in a nutshell:

- When I connect a new device, I am prompted by an Afrihost Clientzone popup (on my phone & laptop) to log in to clientzone (this happens every single time). This DOES allow me to access the fibre connection.

- Every time I connect a new wireless device, the connection drops from the device I was initially using, making it possible to only be connected to one device at a time.

I am a complete novice when it comes to this kind of thing, so I don't know if its a router setup issue or not.

I have contacted Afrihost countless times, with no concrete answer/solution to the problem. It seems as though this isn't a common issue.

So, is this something that has happened to anyone else? Is there an easy fix that I am missing?

Thank you in advance

Brad

Heya Brad! Welcome to the MyBB family! :)

You've got a pretty weird issue here and it sound like it could be mainly WiFi related... From what I gather in your post, it sounds like you are able to connect, but there might be some weird settings or restrictions causing your trouble here.

Please feel free to send me a PM with your account details and I'll run some tests on your connection. If that proves fine we can troubleshoot your router settings. :)

Hi Brad - did you get this sorted? I'm experiencing the same issue. How did you resolved it?

It looks like he may have resolved this via PM with AfriFella. You're welcome to PM Afrifella directly, or PM me and I'll share any information on this issue with you :)
