Fibre not active...

Yesterday Vumatel came to do new installations for me and our neigbor.

His was done just past 15:00 and mine just after 16:00.

I saw the guy booking the installations as done.

Up untill now both of us are still not active. ISP said that Vumatel must activate it and that it runs on a 12 hour cycle for revisions etc etc.

My friend did his installation 2 weeks ago and his was connected and active same day.


Why is this happening and how long does it really take cause I spoke to someone and he said both of us will be active today.
 
It should be up and running sometime today - there is usually some back-end provisioning and then getting the ISP to activate as well. Who is your ISP?
 
Is the LOS light on your box on? Is your router set up in bridge mode?
