Fibre Providers in Risiville / Meyerton

Anyone here know of the best provider in Risiville / Meyerton for Fibre? We will be moving next week to a place and want to try and get it sorted as soon as we can. I take it Cool Ideas are the main group?

Would like to hear from people that may stay in the areas

Can you maybe help me?
I am also in the Meyerton area.
So I am with an ISP.
Lately, been having lots of disconnects etc with Vumatel.
The ISP guy has been great.
But no support over weekends.
Since yesterday, the LOS light on the ONT has been flashing red and as a result no connection.
I have reached out to my ISP, some Vumatel guys who were here before, twitter, etc.
No weekend support.
Fibre cable into house and ONT was replaced about 2 weeks ago.
I am considering moving to a different ISP who can offer weekend support and deal with Vumatel and their s***.
Would you guys sit on Vumatel, even over a weekend, to get this kind of issue sorted?
In the past, Telkom would even be out on Sundays to sort crap out.
But Vumatel covers themselves so well by not having direct contact details and always hiding behind "contact your ISP".
So I need an ISP who is going to really put pressure on them to sort their s*** out.

where about are you going to be. that area is massive .risiville is 10km from meyerton cbd .different company reps maybe.the Vuma rep for Risiville .i believe is very good at his job and virtually responds immediately on the group .but big outages ....well that happens .but usually it somebody put a spade through the cable .never really heard of a major outage in Risiville .but like i say its a big area Meyerton/Midvaal covers up to Alberton and out to the Vaal dam .so if on a plot/farm it may be different .if in Risiville you will only have Vuma as your cable supplier to the house .only they have the infrastucture mandate and trenching rights .Afrihost and Home Connect seem to be well represented in the area .

Yes we offer weekend support, and so does Vumatel to a point. If it's an ongoing issue it needs to be escalated accordingly.

I can't keep going on like this.
I need an ISP who will sit on Vumatel like a fly on s***.
They have become quite arrogant knowing they are the only option in our area.
 
We ended up with Vumatel through Afrihost - been super smooth sailing save one evening when a line to the Vaal was not working.
Guy who installed was extremely professional and personal.
From ordering it was installed and up and running in 4 days. Granted, I personally collected the router - but it's still a decent turnaround.
