Driving in Hartbeespoort yesterday i couldn't help but notice all the dug up pavements and boxes on peoples walls. Anyone know who is rolling out fibre in the area here?

As far as I know it's Vodacom, but I have no idea when things will go live. I suspect it might still be a while.

They have recently started in Schoemansville as well. Can't wait for it to become available in Ifafi so I can cancel my useless Telkom VDSL line.

But dam Vodacom's FUP sucks, drops 10meg line to 2 meg when you use more than 500gig.
Wish we had more providers in the area.

Are you sure it is Vodacom? Openserve is in Meerhof. Not them just extending their reach to Ifafi?

Definitely Vodacom. I placed my order almost 3 weeks ago without any feedback from them. Perhaps I should stick to the devil I know, Telkom and wait for their fibre offering to become available.
