Fibre speed record broken

Does anyone know what the actual record is that they are talking about having broken?

57 Gps isn't that fast. Back in 2014 some universities were claiming a new fancy fibre optic medium that allowed them to do 255Tbs and you can buy 40Gps SFP modules as standard items from Cisco.
 
What does temperature have to do with speed?


Higher temp = higher speed?
