Isn't dark fiber for speed more than distance? It's like the Ferarri of fiber standards
Good chuckle ... no dark fibre is just unused fibre, as in no light going through so its dark.
Its an industry term for describing fibre capacity in its rawest form so that you may choose what technology/protocols you wish to use to 'light it up'.
