Hope someone can advise on my current situation.
In Summary
· I cancelled my current 20mb ADSL with MWEB on the 1st of May 2017 , my service stops on the 31st of May 2017
· I did the online application with Cool Ideas on the same day for Fibre (new request )
· Willing to pay for Install (R1500) and get my own router
· Didn’t hear from cool ideas so decided to follow up last week and they finally started processing my app
· They mentioned that it takes 4 to 6 weeks for Openserve turn around
· Our complex fibre is by Openserve, some of the units are going with Telkom and they have the guys working on the connection already
· Called the Telkom guy working in our area, mentioned that I fill the form and they can start immediately catch is that it is a 24 month contract only
Is the 4-6 weeks turn around normal when not going through Telkom
