FibreCo targets coastal network

Sorry I didn't read the article, but I just had to voice my frustration with all these fibres that are being installed without any "visible" benefit to consumers. We have so much fibre to make spiders blue with jealousy. I may be missing the bigger picture, but for now I really am not exited anymore to hear of these sporadic installations.

National CORE backhaul links are one of the most important components in the telecommunications network. Any expansion and redundancy is more than welcome!!

I know that Telkom have a route right on the coast (CPT-MB-George-Kny-Plet-N2 past Jbay-PE, etc.) as well as one that goes from PE via the Langkloof to Oudtshoorn...

So it would be interesting to see FibreCo's exact route.

But Telkom's pricing ...

And yes the route would be of great interest
