Fibrestream Ghosting us

I've only used CoolIdeas and Websquad on fibre. I can recommend both. The only reason I moved from one to the other being that CI at the time had problems sorting out its DDOS attack, and I couldn't work so eventually I had no choice but to move. It was resolved soon after I moved and by all appearances remain responsive and well respected, Afrihost partnership notwithstanding.
 
Just wanted to give thanks to Afrihost and Websquad, sorted and migrated in two hours.
On another note, my debit order went off for fibrestream for next month; guessing no chance i can get my money back lol

Reverse the debit order with your bank.
 
@AfriNatic I think I jumped the gun with this whole saga and applied for an afrihost account yesterday. Getting a 172 ip on the wan. Am I still on track to be activated?

Good day KDZAR, we are just checking to see if Vumatel will release the line from their side as it will be impossible to do it if your ISP is no longer around and we also need to find out whether they will waive the migration fee of R1159.20. If the answers are positive then I can assist you with 10/10 until the end of this month for R620 and then 20/10 from the 1st of July for R620 per month.

Why would Vumatel waive their connection fee?
 
See my migration from Fibrestream to Afrihost is still stuck on processing order. I started the migration process yesterday between 12-1PM. @AfriNatic Would you be able to assist?

I've been with a handful of ISPs on Vumatel so far (including SkyFi which was Fibrestream's previous name), so far Rocketnet has been the best by a far margin for me.
