I wouldn't buy one... If I had Polo GTI money I'd save up/get a discount and go Focus ST1

Why not save up/get a discount then on a Golf GTI?

ST1 is around 40k more than a Polo GTI, Golf GTI is around 80k (twas around 366k last time i checked) more than a polo GTI.. So its in a completely different price range

I think the Polo is a hot hatch, the ST1 is a warm hatch.
Doesnt make sense, why not save MORE for the ST3? Or more for a second hand RS or save more for a Audi RS3 or save more for a Bugatti!!

Load the Polo with a few extras and it's close to the ST1 price. I was at the launch of the new Focus ST at Zwartkops, it's a phenominal vehicle, though the Fiesta ST at R254K is probably the best value for money at the moment.

Saw the ST3 get whipped by a new standard Polo Gti and well everyone else couple weeks ago at Kyalami, I could be mistaken but there was an A class there as well and also beat the ST3.
I dont know much about them yet, not impressed by what ive seen thus far.

Ja well, a lot of guys upgrade from a N/A to a turbo car and think they can drive quick. Most guys lose their 1st couple of races until they learn how to drive the turbo's car. It's not pedal to the metal and set quick times.
