You sound like a "fanboi" with those kind of statements. Read some of the reviews from the major gaming sites and you will find that Fifa 09 was the better of the two games, and the fact that Fifa10 has improved on 09 it looks like heading the same way this season.
Surely all these reviews can't be biased?

Unless of course like Stefan your talking about the PC versions.(Which I havent read any reviews about but I'll take stefans word as he usually knows his stuff)

Conflicting embargoes mean that we can't put the two latest instalments head to head until our PES 2010 review on 15th October, but unless something dramatic has happened since last month, the gap is ever more significant. If last year saw FIFA knocking PES off its perch, this year it's chasing it around the birdcage with a plank of wood and a sledgehammer.

Call me what you want. I am not a fanboy.

Gaming sites always rated Fifa better than Pro Evo.

I have played both games extensively. The only reason why i bought a PS2 and Xbox was for the football games.

Pro Evo has always had the upper hand. 09 is no different.
 
PES' gameplay is far superior to FIFA's. All the passing, shooting, dribbling, animations etc. is way more realistic than FIFA's. However FIFA has commentary (albeit the same since 2006) and it looks better plus all the added features.

If FIFA could just take some tips from PES in the gameplay department, FIFA would be by far the better game.

As I've already said, FIFA on the PC just plain sucks. When I have international cap, I'm gonna go register on the FIFA 10 forums and bash the main programmer who is, imo, a complete idiot. I'd be more than happy if they took FIFA 09 on the console and made it as FIFA 10 for the pc. I'd just like to know why the console's get everything so good. It's a whole different game compared to PC. More skills, animations, special ways of scoring goals, the gameplay overall is just better than the PC. Oh and FIFA10 still won't be next gen for the PC. It pisses me off so badly :mad:
 
I agree.

FIFA 09 does look a bit more polished than PES. Commentary is probably better as well.

But it lacks with the gameplay - and that is the most important aspect of the game for me.

The dribbling is not as smooth as PES, same goes for the passing. PES 09 is just so much more lively and exciting.

I played PES 09 Demo on the pc once, and it felt like a complete Xbox 360 port. And the fact I couldn't change the graphics didn't help either.

Fernando I would suggest just taking a look at the official UK EA fifa 10 pc forums. Just after reading one or two threads you will the idea of what the pc fanbase thinks of EA's offering. Also know most of these posters posting there where defending EA for the last 2 years and up until the demo got released.

While Peter Moore's is in charge of EA sports we will not get a decent pc game of fifa. Just like the NFL fans will not get a decent madden game. The guy has the opinion that sports games are only meant to be played on a sofa( said that during an interview recently) so till he leaves there's no point in even trying EA sports games on pc.

The guy was part of MS xbox team before joining EA sports so we all should be aware what agenda he is pushing.
 
Well FIFA 10 has been uploaded onto Newshost. Am downloading it now. Not holding my breath. Will probably be the exact same as the demo :/

one thing i LOVED about Pro Evo 5 is when Henry was in his prime and you just give him the ball and his pace edges out any player... ahhhh f@#$ it - Pro Evo will always own Fifa's gameplay...seriously. Time to go dust off the Ps2 for some Pro Evo
 
Playing FIFA 10 now on PC. Game play is exactly like FIFA 09. They've made quite a few changes to manager mode, be a pro and so on. Pretty good.
 
FIFA on the PC is the biggest load of ******.I play PES on the PC while FIFA 09 on the xbox is the cool.
 
so release date is this friday?
do you think places like Musica and Look and Listen etc will be stocking it on the release date or will we only get it next week/2 weeks.im planning a major chill session with the guys and if it came out on Friday that would be :sick:
 
What sucked for PES players was that PES 09 was never sold in SA for Xbox. I still have not seen it in any of the stores.

I hope this isnt the case for PES 10.

lol stick, I bought a PS3 ONLY for Final Fantasy... I'm still waiting :(

So Fifa 09 has been fun - online, so I'm gonna by 10 for online too!
