FIFA 14 - PC

I just got my copy delivered to my office :D

I thought it would only come on Monday because I'm in Newcastle.
 
Why are you guys playing FIFA 14 on PC? EA has already admitted that it won't be the same as the next gen versions.
 
PS4 will be too expensive when it comes out. I'll probably wait a year and FIFA 15 will be out by then.

Isn't it fanboyish these days to claim to be a single platform gamer? Just be a gamer. The PS3 and Xbox 360 have been around for so long that they're about to be replaced. There have been many amazing promotions for each in the last two years. Both consoles have some exceptional exclusives. If you're a FIFA fan and you haven't been playing on console, you've been hugely missing out. The PC versions of FIFA are poor imitations of their console counterparts.

In addition to FIFA, you've missed out on Red Dead Redemption, the Uncharted series, The Last of Us, all the other sports games, other quality exclusives that might appeal to you and you'll have to wait nearly a year to play GTA V. You should rethink your stance on gaming dude...

I play FIFA 13 on PS3 and PC and it's the exact same thing, except you get faster loading times and better graphics on PC.

I also hooked up my DS3's to my PC with a bluetooth dongle.

I've already got mine and will start playing tonight or the weekend.
I am a but sad that ignite won't be on pc but I'm not gonna go and buy a ps3 just for fifa 14.
Nor for any other games as I only have time to play the games I enjoy on pc and having another console will be a waste with all the games as I won't have time to play all the games like uncharted etc...

So yeah, bec we PC gamers!!!!

Fifa 13 was the same but fifa 14 will be a little different...
 
Yea getting mine today as well, can't wait. I sucked so hard at fifa 2013 but i only bought it two months ago and i had never used an xbox controller before.

Tell me should i start practicing without an assistance if i want to compete in competitions and so on? I tried to do that but wow my controller skills are lacking so it was a cock up, considering i bought it 3 months ago i just figured i would jam for fun but if i wanted to jam in comps would you recommend i use no assistance? with bf 4 coming out i don't know whether i should focus on fifa 2014 or bf 4 but i am loving fifa for pc. fifa 2013 on pc feels just as good as it does on console. Although i must admit at times i lose sight of the ball. Perhaps i should adjust the colouring on my monitor or sit closer, i sit 1m away playing bf 3/4 due to kb/m but i sit like 3m away when using my controller. Any hints as to how i can see the ball better, even up close at times i can't see if i have to or my opponent in the box then i just start smashing buttons and concede penalties haha.

I prefer the ps3 controller but i don't think it works on pc and i have a blister on my thumb from the xbox plus when it's how i can't grip the xbox controller that nicely, skin is hardening around my thumb hahah :D. Boy it is difficult to go from pc gaming all your life to playing on a controller. Getting there though, i almost got to division 6. One point away. I guess for some that is totally noob lol, 98 wins 56 draws 200 loses :eek: but then as i mentioned i used different teams to get a feel for them, tried tactics and so on. I remember playing fifa 98 with a keyboard :p

They say pes is also pretty good i might buy that as well but two soccer games, bf 4 and titanfall seems a bit of a stretch.

No, cross platform isn't possible I'm afraid. That would have been cool since it's hard to find SA PC players online. I'm currently at work, but will add/confirm you guys as friends as soon as I've faked a serious illness and get home. We can communicate via Origin about how we'll do this league.
