Hi, im looking to play people in Fifa 2007, being playing over hamachi with the folks in Euroupe but get delay, so im looking for some local players to vs, pm if u want to play and we can arrange a game.
 
every time i go to multiplayer mode it says fifa has encountered a problem and needs to close :(
 
Get Pro Evolution Soccer 6, ie Winning Eleven, its a MUCH better game, and the only reason fifa out sells it is cause it doesn't have that many official team kits etc, but that can be fixed with community made patches :D . Once you try it there is no going back to fifa, the gameplay just isn't comparable.
 
fifa is rubbish

the graphics of fifa is shocking

pro evolution soccer is the way to go

i'll pirate fifa just because put out such a suckie game

if its good i'll buy and play online

Yeah Fifa has somewhat dwindled in the past,pro evo series is better

to bad Fifa holds all the Licensing rights for most teams and leagues
 
actually the multiplayer over internet i havent tried........multiplayer over lan(which i really need to get working) is not working......it gives the error above.........i create the game, it says waiting for other player.....on the other computer it shows the game i just setup. when you click connect on the other computer both computers freeze and eventually say fifa has encountered a problem and needs to close :(...........

how could it be firewall settings?explain pls....cos i can access files on the other computer fine and play CS fine on multiplayer
 
in the past EA games over a LAN required the host to have their gateway as their own network IP address. ie. if your IP is 192.168.0.1 then you must set your gateway to the same IP. This was a necessity for NFSU:2 and could be the same for FIFA07 since it looks like it uses the same network code.

You need to use direct IP, the joiner gets the host ip and under new stores it, the host then clicks create and the joiner click on the host ip that he created and clicks connect.
 
tried it.........it workd after configuring bitdefender to let the program use the network.......think that was causing problem........thx ppl

All recent FIFAs are the same with the same style of play and are just boring. Pro Evo is the only soccer game to play (except you couldn't lan 5).
 
Ok,will look out for Pro Evo 6, is it out on Pc yet
 
PES6 is schedules for a 27th Oct release in the EU... so make it within the same week in SA if we are lucky! :)
 
will btgames be stocking it? if not who else will have it other than the rip-offs that are CNA, Incredible Connection etc?
