fifa 2006 and FIFA2007 are terrible games.Not sure what EA Sports are doing.The gameplay is awful and doesnt feel smooth.PLayed FIFA 2007 this weekend then played PRO Evolution 4.The different in gameplay is in another league.
 
i am getting quickly fed up with the FIFA07 quirks on the X360, online its a fab game but playing against the AI is a let down due to stupid defensive AI of your own team, weird tackles, players bumping into each other all the time and a wonky kicking mechanism... sigh... at least the online portion saves it from total disaster.

were are you PES6?

hehehe... to be honest after reading reviews on PES6 it seems the best version of the game is the PC & PS2 version... the X360 version of PES6 is a disappointment just like FIFA07 on the X360.

They publishers simply cut down too much of the content for the next-gen consoles to make it worth the price. PC version FTW! :)

Mate chill, jeeez. The reason I personally brought it up is because even though I have been playing football games since Fifa 1996, I had never played Pro Evo until last year, I really just thought it was sum crappy japanese attempt at a football game, and i'm not the only one. It simply doesn't get the marketing it deserves and so I brought it up because everyone should at least have a got at it. And btw I was about as big a Fifa fan as you get, 98---->2006 and world cup 2006 edition, and I still play it....sumtimes. They are compleetely different styles of football games, Fifa is more like the Italian league, slow and with plenty of time on the ball. And Pro Evo is fast and skillful, like Brazilian or English football. So yeah enjoy this forum, I'll be going to a mates house and trying out FIfa 2007, if I like, I'll buy, just hope its buckloads better than the RUBBISH demo. :D

Even PRO Evolution 5 is better than FIFA 2007.The commuity mods , patches and add-ons for PES5 and 6 are out of this world.Ive just finished downloading over 2 GBs of PES5 updates.How can FIFA compare to PES5 when there is a mod that adds 89 New and updated stadiums for PES5.I mean they even have Newlands Rugby stadium with the Rugby posts behind the goals.The level for detail for these mods is brillant.I guess u have to be a huge soccer follower to see of the small details
 
vrapt0r - Iam not biased but if you have to seriously look at the PES5/6 vs 2007 , u just cant compare.Tell me a site where there are extensive FIFA mods and patches ??? Take a look at pes.socceraccess.com and see the community support for PES5 and PES6.Anyone who thinks FIFA07 is better then PES5/6 does'nt know what Football is.The movement , logic , and gameplay is so much better.Well u keep on playing FIFA07 while the rest of us enjoy the best football game ever
