Thanks, oddly 98 was our worst performance compared to 2002 and 2010, let's hope being the underdogs works in our favour.

But one thing is certain, when it comes to the luck of the draw, it's really not out thing, we just happen to be drawn with France in France and now we get Mexico in Mexico.

It's like we have always had a World Cup winner in our group, France twice, Mexico twice now, and Spain.

98 was a bit of a disaster, for sure. I'm also still miffed that we were the only team that couldn't score more than one goal against Slovenia in 2002, as that would have sent us through. On the other hand, we were also the only team in the group to run Spain close.

To our credit, in 2002 and 2010 we gave the (on paper) best team in the group a proper go, losing 3-2 to Spain in 2002 and we could've easily pumped 3 or 4 goals past France in 2010 had we taken our chances in the first half. We had the French on the ropes.

I have always felt like Supersport had too much Nigerian influence during this time of big tournaments, I want to see what is going to happen since Nigeria did not qualify, would they have analysts from the DRC?
