It is a pity that Ramos doesn't play anymore. I was never a fan, but the Spanish lack an enforcer and Ramos would have been all over Molina.

Very very marginal, but yes, by the strict laws of the game, it's offisde. This is not offside. Attackers body is in line with defender. Football will be better without these incompetent, corrupt VAR officials.

So he is technically offside because a marginal part of his head is in front.A player is in an offside position if:
- any part of the head, body or feet is in the opponents’ half (excluding the halfway line) and
- any part of the head, body or feet is nearer to the opponents’ goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent
It's the part of his head that counts. But yes, a very marginal call.Lol that is a very marginal call. They are perfectly inline. Just the guy's arm is "offside" and you don't count arms.
Overall 8/10.
I liked more teams and a bigger world cup, but also it was too long, by the semis I was properly gatvol of soccer. I'm not sure I like the round of 32 and the groups being easier.
Mostly the soccer was really good there was very few boring games.
The fans and atmosphere were great.
Referring was mostly good for soccer, but probably the worst aspect of the world cup. Not awarding diving or tolerating too much back chat from players, excellent. Just Argentina and Messi got a bit of favouritism during the tournament. And the red card drama.
Just enough drama to keep it interesting.
Shoulder counts tooIt's the part of his head that counts. But yes, a very marginal call.
Getting sent off after the final whistle in game where you had zero shots on target for normal and extra time, Jesus, are they trying to make everyone hate them?Leandro Paredes sent off after final whistle as Argentina’s World Cup ends with punches and in disgrace
Any part of the bodyShoulder counts too
They didn't edit him out. That shot was after he moved to the side. Check the players' positions with Trump there vs after he moved away for this shot.
True, that too.Shoulder counts too
They cropped it.... he was trying to stay in frame and they just sniped him out. They didn't edit him out. That shot was after he moved to the side. Check the players' positions with Trump there vs after he moved away for this shot.
Just sayin...
By the time this shot was taken he was standing with his back to the cameras applauding the team. They cropped it.... he was trying to stay in frame and they just sniped him out.
I watched it happen and baldy was trying his best to put him as far out of the shot as possible.
Why do you have respect for their rugby team? Did you see what happened after the game on Saturday. They started a fight and started pushing the ref after he rightfully called their try back. They are just as thuggish in Rugby as in Football. This seems to be part of Argentinian culture.I have huge respect for Argentinian rugby players and their supporters (mostly). Soccer? Not so much.
