First episode of season 26 is out :

In this episode of Fifth Gear Tiff Needell and Vicki Butler-Henderson take part in a unique car v plane challenge. Nigel Lamb is the current Red Bull Air Race champion, which makes him the airborne equivalent of Lewis Hamilton. His MX2 aircraft is Formula 1 quick as well. But Tiff and Vicki also have a very special machine, a £300,000 Lamborghini Aventador. Once Vicki has experienced a ride in Nigel’s plane, and Nigel has had a spin in the Lamborghini, it’s time for them to go head to head. The aircraft is faster, but the car can turn tighter. The result is very close.

If you missed the trailer of season 26, it is bound to be a good one. Tiff visited SA in February and among the stuff they filmed is Giniel de Villiers driving Tiff scared, not something that anyone can do.

Seen a few episodes here and there - not the biggest fan - find the presenters rather annoying.
 
They are not everyone's cup of tea, although Tiff and Vicky did work on Top Gear since before Clarkson was around. At least it is fresh content and they do some fun stuff to.
 
Considering its now aired on the "History" channel, I wonder when they'll be required to make an episode on extra terrestrial earth buggies

Half the hosts are pretty alian to the concept of entertainment already

Fifth Gear is a car show.

Top Gear is an entertainment show featuring cars.

They can't be compared.

As for Vicki...I would guy that.
 
Vicki was flippen hot back when Clarkson was still with them on old Top Gear. As a high school boy watching her driving the way she did it was my view of the ultimate girl. Maybe she was still a bit hot when she tried to destroy that Mercedes TE with a pik and explosives, kinda like Clarkson did with the Hilux. Now she is just a talented female automotove journalist to me.

Its a boring car show because of the presenters. The should get someone like Chris Harris who can present to car enthusiasts without being annoying.

Despite all the haters here, I just thoroughly enjoyed the first episode of Season 26! It has the sort of real-world reviews of cars that people actually buy, unlike Top Gear who'd only use a Citroen C1 to kick a big soccer ball around in. Plus that whole car vs plane stunt was awesomely filmed, and in much better detail than the same thing when it was back on Top Gear. Promising start to the season!

I enjoy both shows... for different reasons!
