Figo brake light issue

Was the ignition on? I know some cars only turn on the brake lights when you press the brake pedal while the ignition switch is in the on position.

Update:

There are 2 brake pedal switches on the pedal. They remove by just twisting them sideways. *very easy*

I drove to a spares shop and bought 2 second hand switches. R 250. They are however not the problem. Will phone Ford on Monday to make a booking.

Was a wire short in the tailgate. Auto Electrician sorted it quickly and was about R 200. Never had an issue after. This is apparently a very common problem on Figos and Fiestas

Hi I need help please. My Ford figo 1.6 year model 2013. The indicator lights and harzard all of sudden stopped working and I think they affecting the brake light too, all the fuses seem to be fine. So I don't know what's causing this or how to fix it , please help.

Are you sure you have accounted for all the fuses? Sometimes they are on different locations, make sure you have identified the specific fuse or fuses for the hazards or indicators. If the fuses are fine it could be the flasher relay, can you hear it clicking when you indicate or switch on the hazards?

You might be right. Where is the flash relay cause it doesn't make the flash sound at all, where is it situated? I double checked all fuses nothing.

Is it the 1st model or the facelift?

Have you checked at the brake pedal shaft to see if there is any kind of switch?

I have a 2013 Figo that have a particular problem where the centre stop light comes on but none of the side ones. All fuses and globes checked, wire continuity between left and Right is fine, no earth faults. All indicators, reverse lights and rear lights are fine.
Do you perhaps have any notes on where to trace it back to?
