Files from PC to DVD-harddrive

Can anybody tell me how to copy files (mp3's, jpg's etc.) from my PC to the harddrive of my stand-alone DVD player/writer (MODEL: LG RH1999H) without using CD's or DVD's. There are no USB ports on the LG. There's a SD port though.

Could one change the software that operates the LG?

well, open it up, take the hdd out and put it in your pc. Copy stuff, put it back. not very quick, but hey, you can't have everything.

Or just get a card reader for your PC then buy an SD card to transfer between the two?

Should not be to difficult to get it out. Looks like you need a screwdriver that bends though.

That's the $64,000 question. I hope the answer is FAT32 or NTFS.

AFAIK you can't transfer from the card on the r1999h only play from it,only the newer model with 400gb hdd can do it...

normally there would be 2 partitions, one for the system files & one for data. Normally the data partition would be Fat32. Hopefully.
