Hi there. I read that these filesharing hostings are been shutting down by US goverment. How true is this please.
Is it woth it subscribing still....???

Thanx

MegaUpload is the only one shut down, but alot of the others have taken a policy where you may only download the files you have uploaded yourself. Pointless really since Dropbox is a much better option for that.

At the moment i will definitely not subscibe to any of these premium account for any of the file sharing sites. As stated above, megaupload has been shutdown by US government and filesonic states that you can only download your own files that you have uploaded.

Check out Filerio maybe which has no download speed restrictions.
But TPB will always be the winner!

FileSonic have shut off all sharing functions except your own.
Uploadbox is closing down and will delete all files Jan 30.
Uploaded.to not available in U.S. anymore.

From a popular open website posting illegal links have had their accounts deleted for
- Duckload
- Hotfile
-X7
- Uploadbox
- Fileserve
- Filejungle
- Uploadstation
- Wupload

Many services just disabled US access.

Rest of us just point an laugh.

Who buys, rips and uploads content? Niche shows you can't buy in South Africa will be more difficult to find. It's much easier to get free and very cheap content in US with services like http://www.hulu.com
