Filter coffee brands all taste the same

Yes a standard kettle does not a good coffee make.

Especially not if used immediately after boiling.

Also please define “filtered coffee” because basically all coffee is filtered except instant.

91 Degrees C is the sweet spot, depending on the Kettle and the amount of water you boil some times you might need to let the water for a minute before using it.

Personally I don't think it makes that big of a difference. Bad tasting coffee is bad. You cant save it. I rather drink tea then, unless I'm visiting friends then I don't complain. I became a bit of a coffee snob now that I'm learning to be a barista (as a 'hobby').

All coffee is the same to me. It is after all just ground burnt nuts.
But yes water temperature seems to play quite a role in how coffee tastes.
Must not use boiling water wait for the water to go off the boil about 2 to 3 minutes.

Yeah look if it’s *** it’s ***.

But you can take amazing coffee and throw boiling water on it and then it’s burnt and also ***.

Old coffee presser never used before

Still looks shiny new but could also be a problem?

French press?

What’s your process? How long do you leave it to extract etc?

How many spoons per ml of water etc.
