Exactly!
I think this is why I prefer VIII above VII.
I could relate to the characters and the emotions involved.
VII had the typical hurt/confused/anger/revenge issues that can be found in the traditional fantasy/sci-fi/superhero stories.

ah yes, the comedy relief flashback arc! Just when something important has happened and you can't wait to see what's next...flashback! :mad:

I think his name was Laguna (or something like that).
