Cannot blame him... all cards were deserved (both teams). Robben had 2 CLEAR chances and there was the header from the corner that the centre back missed. You cannot miss chances like this at the highest level and expect to win.
 
Well its all over. Not the result I wanted but not a bad tournament. There was some bad decisions during the tournament but also some great moments. Now we wait for 2014 Brazil
 
Well, I had a rave of a WC. I haven't consumed so much alcohol, for so many days, for quite some time. Now my liver can get some rest.

My biggest concern/baffle is the many over the box kicks? is the Jabulani ball so bad?

Oh FFS, if a team is in the final then they should be able to score. I am sorry the Dutch had many chances but didn't use them. Obviously they were not as good as they believed they were

How about Robben going on at the ref when he thought he should be awarded a free-kick? Also after the Spanish scored a goal, they harassed the assistant referee as well as the main ref. Goes both ways.

Rubbish TPK. The fact of the matter is that Holland are one of the dirtiest teams as far as fouls are concerned and their luck turned against them in this match. De Jong shouldn't have been on the pitch after that lunge.
 
The ref had a good game.

The players were messy and undisciplined. I would have given 2/3 yellow cards extra to some of the protesting players.
 
Are you seriously telling me the ref didn't fall for the spanish diving? I said de jongs kick was a deserved yellow, but the four yellows before that, 3 to the dutch and 1 to spain, was rubbish. Even the SS panel said the ref should get man of the match.

Btw barcelona are the first team to win the champions league and the world cup :p
