Everythings nice and shiny :)
But PLEASE DONT waste money on the 7950gt's - they're only directx9 complaint, rather keep your old card or get a small cheap one until end of the year - when Nvidia and ATi will release their next-gen cards whom would be DX10 complaint?

Holy Cow! 2 * 7950GT thats alot of cash! thats prob more than everything else put together! i would also wait till DX10 as Paradigm said, otherwise they going to be old news next year and you WILL want something better.
otherwise looks awesome! im jealous except i would go for the Asus P5WDH but thats just me. Enjoy your new machine :)

you dont seem to be worried about cash so just buy a 7600gt for the moment

i agree with everyone :)

your going to be running raid 0 right?
thats why u bought 2 exact hdds?

Um, people where are those cards?
7950GT is available now and you can play the games now.
And besides that rig will be good well into 2007 and into 2008.

Good rig man, should allow you hi-res gaming (but since you're using 19" 1280x1024 should be great with 4xAA).

Perfect rig man. :)

Thanks for the quick responses have some cash left over for 8XXX's or what ever the next big thing is and when dx10 cards finally come out. Seriously tired of waiting. Have bought at least 3 titles i can't play yet due to cr@p system.

@killadoob gonna try (first time builder :))

Btw is it an idea to get a 23" or bigger monitor for higher res? I noticed nvidia have a XHD list. Anyone with links to a quick response time LARGE display (1920x1200)ish? Only able to find the Viewsonic VP2330wb, available here, and it seems a little pricy and only 8ms response.

I hear from quiet a few people that the Viewsonic 24" LCD's are pretty good so you can't go wrong there. And besides that will give you HD 1080p resolutions which are not possible on 19" LCD. And that's when your SLI 7950GT is going to shine.

You could be paying upto $650~$700 for next generation stuff which is just way too much no matter the performance. I say you can't go wrong with 7950GT. And guess what? This baby out shines the Radeon X1900XT in performance (or their matched) and even in Image quality :D
