Found my DSLR today. A Nikon D40, brand spanking new in the box as if it was just bought from a shop, with all manuals, boxes, plastic and training voucher.

Getting it for R3500 - R1500 cheaper than Makro, R1400 cheaper than Orms. So I'm really chuffed.

Sure, it may not be the best in its class or the latest, but for a starter like me I think it's perfect.

Put in a R1000 deposit today, rest next week.

I probably only take a thousand shots a week - not in one go. Its easier to nail it when you're shooting RAW
