We have two different routes onto the N1, so this morning I took the alternate route and fired up the find my iPhone app and tracked the SO on her her way to work. In the outdoors the tracking is pretty accurate, it did jump far ahead once and then suddenly corrected, but on the whole got it dead on.
In the end it turned out to be quite a close race and she beat my by a few seconds at the point where our routes intersected.
