can't we rather set him on fire?

j/k ... seriously... this guy is useless for this job. I dunno what job he would be useful for...if any... but this ain't it.

The faster they get rid of the General, the faster things can start to move forward in the communications industry of South Africa.

Personally I think Zuma is too scared to fire him. The dude is causing absolute chaos at the moment....he is on one mission, and one mission only - to make use of his environment to enrich himself. And it's SO obvious to see, but nobody in the ANC has the balls to do anything about it. Expect Zuma to be gone before Nyanda gets the boot.

Remember that Zuma and Nyanda come a VERY, VERY long way together.

Redeploy him? Fine ... then what?

Like Steve Tswete who couldn't even manage to manage Sport, so they made him minister of safety and security. Jaaaaaa, ne? Jaaaa.

"However, earlier this year the Department indicated that it might be adopting the Japanese standard for digital migration instead, which is of a poorer quality."

Yikes, that's not a very accurate statement from Natasha Michael on so many levels.

Just stick to the facts, Michael: South Africa chose DVB-T, industry have been gearing up for a DVB-T DTT launch and all our broadcasters are pretty much ready to go with DVB-T right now. From the information currently at hand, that's the bottom line.

Absolutely! Sipiwe has to go, everyone knows he's just in it for himself. SA deserves a better comms minister - the ANC really scraped the barrel for the last two misfits.

all YES votes - suppose he is not getting invitations to many Xmas parties this year - maybe only one from J Malema...

Who voted no???? Show yourself you AGENT!!!!! lol.

But ja, even if he is fired, the problem of the ANC in general will remain. They will just shove the next idiot in line into the position. :-(

He started off so well, but lately all you've heard from him is failure. We had such high hopes for the 'crony-reward' appointment and he did show some initial promise, but the gravy train rolled along regardless and took our hopes with it...
